Since my last blog update, I've posted a couple new YouTube videos for once, in addition to starting making Twins V3, making loads of progress on Arr Pea Gee (92% done), and adding several updates to Stick RPG: PSP Adaption. Twins V3 will have an all-new gameplay that will include two sets of twins (black and white) instead of 'real' and 'ghost' twins. Your new goal is not to let opposing colors touch. This means levels are twice as hard to make (especially with a V-Cam), but will have twice the possibilities. I'm also looking into making a level creator for it along with sharable codes. Since the scripting is simple, I may even make a PSP adaption. Arr Pea Gee is going great, but I'm still waiting on 9 graphics, two of which I need to finish scripting the game (which will also allow me to test two more battles for bugs). It includes two kinds of turn-based battles, 6 unique puzzles, and 5 real-time battles! Careful, though, because the puzzles are going to be really, really hard, unless you're a freaking genius. Stick RPG: PSP Adaption is now at V 13.1, and has a new racing minigame which you can compete for scores in with other players, with races from 5 seconds to 16 minutes. It's basically a souped-up mouse maze, but uses the PSP's analog stick if you download it to the console. You also get tons and tons of Strength from racing with it. This version is arguably better than the original Stick RPG by now! Also, I'm considering adding a dancing minigame for Charm, comment if interested. Odds for this are unlikely, though. Since my last update, I've also gotten an award on my Platform Tutorial AS2, which is actually somewhat similar to my first Newgrounds submission. As for the 1KBWC, I've submitted the file to Newgrounds long ago and update it with my newest ideas in case people want to play with them. I may eventually release a version that can randomly choose and look at cards, but don't expect it soon; I'll need to do some serious work with arrays and ActionScript to do that.
Progress is nonexistent; my colleagues altogether refuse to work. I've put together a couple bits and pieces on Newgrounds, you can check them out as always on the External Links page.Speaking of Newgrounds, I've also submitted the mecha we'll be using for a cutscene in Arr Pea Gee, which means I'll be a multi-purpose worker from now on... Although I definitely won't be finishing it up all on my own.And the surprise project is not in progress right now; when I decide to pick it back up, I'll be working again.Lastly, me and my cousin have been working on cards for 1000 Blank Cards, although we have a different version than the one in the Wikipedia article. I'll post a short Flash of my cards on Newgrounds when it's done.
I just found out that Filefront is going to close down, so I'm going to give you guys the file right here on my own website. Just right-click and select Save Target As or Save Link As.Onto the PSP:-Connect your PSP to your computer via USB-In the folder CONTAINING the folder labeled PSP, create a new folder labeled "Flash"-Drop the raw SWF file into that folderTo play on the PSP:-Open your Internet Browser on the far right-Cancel the internet connection-Insert in the URL:file://Flash/RPG.swfNOTE: If you changed the name of the game file, change it on the above URL. Also, your PSP has to have Flash Player installed. To do this, you need a one-time internet access to activate it, I have no idea why... But once you do it, you'll be able to play games whenever you want!
